The Music Modernization Act (the MMA) will change how payments for music are collected and distributed across digital platforms, as well as make other much-needed improvements to the music licensing landscape.

Featuring representatives from ASCAP, BMI, and the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA), this panel examines the MMA as it sets out to reform the rules governing music use for the digital age. Many years in the making, this bill has been recently approved by the House Judiciary Committee on the passage towards becoming law.
