The very first Cinema in Industry (CINDY) Stock Library Production Music Use Special Award has been presented to Warner/Chappell Production Music, for “Starts Here”, a :30 promo spot introducing Thursday Night Football. The winning track is “This Night is Ours” from Warner/Chappell Production Music’s Non-Stop Producer Series catalog. CBS is the client/sponsor and the agency is The Vault.

This new CINDY Special Award is presented annually by Markee 2.0 magazine.

Four of the other five existing CINDY Special Awards were also presented this year. The John Cleese Comedy Award went to The Hit House for “Netflix SuperFan”, the Robert Townsend Social Issues Award was garnered by Batwin + Robin Productions NYC for “March on Washington”, the Robert W. Rowan Still Imagery Award went to Lawrence Livermore Lab for “Stockpile Stewardship and the Western New York Public Broadcasting Association captured the Wolfgang Bayer Cinematography Award for “If Our Water Could Talk”.
In 2014, over 7500 linear and interactive entries were submitted to the CINDY Awards in nearly 100 subject matter categories and 17 formats. Awards of Merit were also presented to nearly 300 entrants. These included Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention and Special Achievement.
