Jennifer Lanchart is an independent licensing agent, a music supervisor, and music producer.
Growing up in the 80’s, and watching John Hughes movies was extremely influential in shaping Jennifer’s career. Those soundtracks inspired her to follow her passion for music, and led her to work at MTV, NBC TV, ABC Radio, & ultimately Beggars Group, one of the most successful independent record labels in the world, where she headed up the licensing department.
After a decade at Beggars, Jennifer left to start her own boutique music licensing & supervision company, Syncalicious Music. Carrying over the invaluable label experience, the strong relationships she established, and her love for music, has allowed her to thrive as an independent agent.
Some of her music supervision and clearance projects include “Won’t You Be My Neighbor" (Focus Features), “They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead” (Netflix), "Ugly Delicious" + "Breakfast Lunch Dinner" (Netflix), “Snowfall (FX - Pilot)”, Fear, Inc (Lone Suspect), “The Music Of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble (HBO + The Orchard) & more. She is a proud member of the Guild of Music Supervisors.
Jennifer also writes & produces for trailers, film, & tv through her company, Collaborate Music. In 2017, A song she co-produced called, "Pure As Snow (Mike Raznick Remix)” was chosen for the trailer of season one of Hulu's hit series The Handmaid's Tale. And most recently, a song she co-wrote and co-produced, “Creepy Cradle” is featured in the trailer for horror film, Haunt.
